Our activities
You know our town, region
We are planing to implement the project “ You know our city , region “ like year around activity for students elmentary school Park Angelínum. They study subject Travel and tourism business / TTBiz/ in school year 2006/2007. This is one of the program from organization Junior Achievement Slovakia - Young for future. This program is teaching comunication skills between students. It also helps to understand travel industry. Program uses elearning form of study. Students meet with leading professionals from the industry .
The goal of the project " You know our city, region " are :
- to introduce travel industry to young people as the fastest growing economy
- unformal presentation of Slovakia, its regions and towns
- support presentation of new possibilities of development local and foreing tourism
- to improve students english language
- to be familiar with practice knowledge of the modern communication / web pages,e.mail,chat,videoconference /
To achieve our goals we plan to create a partneship with one school in Slovakia and one foreing school.

Topic: Introduction and goals
Introduction of program TTBiz - introduction and goals of program.
To get familiar with basic economic terms - tourism, different type of tourism, participants in tours. Introduction of Junior Achievement webpage. Introduction of a subject TTBiz. Introducting of project You know our town , region.
Registration with the etwinning portal. The goal of this registration is to find a sister school abroad.

Topic : Familiarization and creating communications means
Students will study contemporary communications means on Internet .
/ webpages,searching for information,e.mail,chat,videoconference.. /
They will create own website for representation and communication . The goals to make contacts with partners schools on regional and international classes.

Topic : Intorduction of our country, region and city
For sister schools the students will introduce their country, town and region.
On the base of their knowledge of geography, natural atraction and cultural heritage the students will introduce their country to the sister schools.
We will continue to reseach locall tourism.

Topic: qualitive reseach of market - the questionnaire
One form of marketing survey is to develope questionnaire for potencial visitors of our region. We will develope a questionnaire for topic : What the young people enjoy to do as tourists ? .

Topic : Analyse and evaluation of gathered information
Students will summaryze and evaluate the information. The information will be gained from questionnaires and from mapping of local bussines. The information will be used for the student’s future projects.

Topic : Obtaining the experiences in travel industry
The students will create the own logo and the name of their virtual travel agency.They will prepare and realize a trip for their classmates and parents. They will create a route of the trip, the program,transport and the budget of the trip.

Topic : Selection of student bussines activities
Students will create their own bussines activity. They will use the brainstorming method.This bussines activity has contributed to popularity of our town and region. They will attend a competition. It’s called :My idea for region. Organization Junior Achievement Slovakia organizes this competition.

Topic : Organization of own bussines activity and posibilities of their realization
The students will study financing of bussines idea and its a theory. They will make the bussines plan,bussines budget and they will make its real version.

Topic : Visit Rome
Students will go to visit Rome. This visit will last for 3 days. The partner school – IC Padre Romualdo Formato will prepare the whole program. We will meet with our penfriends from Italy and the plan is to go sightseeing an interesting places in Rome.

Topic : Practical realization of own bussines activity
Students will introduce their own bussines activity to a partner school from Revuca. The practical demonstration will be the peak of the project “ You know our town and region “
They will go to the Slovak-wide competition in Banská Bystrica.

We have begun our club last year. It was called bassic of business.
We have acquainted with basic and we have learned how we can begin with our business.
In this introduction we have learned what we need for business, like spend with capital and possession of enterprise and like in excursive firm pay of wages for employees.
It was first interesting informations for us and on next lessons we effortlessly continued .
We have learnet what difference is beetwen physical and legally person and types of business organizations:
- FO - Physical person- individual enterprise
- s.r.o. - partnership
- a.s. - own shareholders
and that firm manage management.Part of our lessons wasn´t also boring writing but learning with games too.
We was trying like it is on interviewings and more.We was present at exhibition stand which was created with students and they offered for example painted nails,they sale differently personali made products...
Next interesting part of our lessons was excursion in production of company "RYBA" (fish).
We saw like they made our fauvored Treska(cod) or Zavináee(rollmop) and more other .
This production is masss production.
Object of our perennial work wasn´t práce less acquisition of diploma but also arrestment our own corporation.
Name of our buffet after mass agreement was MŇAM V ROHU a.s. We had selected management ,board of trustees,economist,warehousemans,importers of goods,helpers and of course our two salesgirls.
This project was very interesting.
